Backstory:

In the second circle of Hell, known as the Circle of Lust is a domain of beings hellbent on securing the souls of living creatures via their seductive arts. It is here where Lylanxia, Goddess of Lust gained her power and amassed a great army and following of loyal Imp-pups.
In the beginning Asmodeus, Demon-God of Lust used his power to create a great harem of succubi to command. One of these was Lylanxia, whose power was equal to the rest of her kind and she was tasked with tempting man into claiming their soul using her wicked wiles, to sustain Asmodeus’s power and secure his position in hell.
Though it was common for the succubi serving under Asmodeus to have never understood the meaning of love, yet this was different for her. Lylanxia was aware of her growing feelings for him as his gentle touch and immense love were all she had known, and in a bid to gain his heart for eternity she carried out her task until a fateful encounter would forever change what she had thought was her destiny.
Lyla, diligent in her work, had ended up tempting a man into sleeping with her. However not was all as it seemed and the man had been disguising himself as mortal but turned out to be a wolf spirit that -once his soul was consumed- cursed Lyla causing a change in her appearance making her into a wolf-like succubus with pointed ears, a fluffy tail and body markings that covered her once pure skin... This one encounter in a twisted act of fate would lead to her dismissal as one of Asmodeus’s faithful.
After she returned to Asmodeus she tried to get closer to him after saying how much she had done for him and worked up the courage to confess to him her feeling, though instead he became enraged by her new appearance lashed out at her to deliver swift punishment, his reasons for being that she was no longer a pure-blooded succubus, and was now tainted by a lesser species. In one swift and violent act he would grab her by the throat and lift her above him, looking into her eyes that have been warped to look like that of a wolves and said to her, “Don’t look at me with those… tainted eyes.” as he takes his claw and slices through her left eye he casts her aside, leaving her to die.
Upon awakening, Lyla noticed her eye was blooded but could feel something else, a restorative power working to seal her wound and in time it would, though her eye would lose its colour turning from a bright blue to a pale white ensuring she would live with a permanent reminder of what he did.
This was not enough to dissuade her, she would still work for him in secret trying to do what she could to desperately get him to love her, however upon seeing her again, he thought it a blasphemy that she would dare return after what he had said and done and turned his back on her, allowing her one chance to leave of her own accord. This caused the wolfcubus to snap. Unknowingly to him, that would allow her to strike back at Asmodeus when he was unaware, for dismissing her love for him and casting her aside. In one swift attack she would behead the Demon-God, and leave Lust without a ruler… but not for long.
Finally Lylanxia would undergo another transformation due to her regicide. Due to the curse her hair, tail and markings would all begin to glow in a brilliant light that would soon dim, as the once teal markings she once bore would shift into a dark blue as her curse caused her body to evolve as a reaction to what she had done, this was finalised when her horns painfully curled as they grew out and adorned themself atop her head in the shape of a crown and a power would begin to swell inside of her.
Upon realising her new power, she would ascend the throne to become the new ruler of the Second circle and Demon-Goddess of Lust. It is here where she makes her plans to descend the rest of the nine circles, usurping power by killing their rulers and sating her bloodlust, but until then she shall be condemning many more souls from the lands of twitch, into becoming part of her army of Imp pups. However slowly, she is filling the void left by her lost love as her following of loyal Imp pups give her endless days of newfound joy and happiness causing the days of pain to be lost to time.

Backstory:

When an orphaned baby showed up at the doorstep of the ruler of the 8th circle of hell, he knew not what to do. He was shocked that anyone would even dare or be so stupid to try something like this. You only hear about these things happening in the plain realm. Of babies being floated down rivers or left at fire stations. It’s a tale as old as time. He was honestly more impressed that they got to his doorstep in one piece and the infant was unharmed. He picked the bundle up and carried it inside his mansion. His servants began to panic and offered a myriad of excuses and offers to dispose of the pest. He hand waived them all off reassuring them it’s fine. He will see what to do with this new house member.
As the child grew up He learned more about her. He learned that she could stop time as she pleases and even rewind if she makes a mistake. She would go back into the past if she broke one of her favorite toys and would come back with a duplicate that looked brand new. At first it was amusing. He would watch her play outside the mansion, playing with the leaves of dead trees rewinding and fast forwarding their life cycle until they turned to ash. But then it took a more sinister turn. It was no longer child’s play. She would rewind time on the hounds patrolling the land until they were nothing but a mere memory. Or she would experiment and play with whatever poor soul she could get her hands on, devouring them.
Then the help began to disappear.
One by one people disappeared in the mansion. Not a trace left behind. It was a mystery to everyone. But not Him. No. he knew it was Cherri. She looked inexplicably more youthful. He could sense she got more powerful each time. He warned her about the dangers of rearranging the balance of time, of life and death. She couldn’t be so careless. and he couldn’t allow her to be so untamed. He couldn’t let her trample on the balance of everything he had built. He was ruler for a reason and if he couldn’t control her he would be seen as weak.
When Cherri became a young woman she was allowed to leave the grounds on the condition she didn’t use her abilities. He was afraid of the attention it would bring. If word got out he knew someone would want to use her for nefarious reasons. While Cherri heard the words leave his mouth she didn’t listen. She was careless. She made mistakes. Now all of the 8th circle has heard the rumors. There was. time warper. And the ruler knew something about it.
Around this time when the rumors began to circle, His nephew gained an interest in coming to visit the mansion. If anyone were to happen to Him he would be the next in line. They both knew this very well. He welcomed his nephew Abbadon in. Through pleasantries he could smell he had ulterior motives. Abaddon was there on business. as heir he thought it fit to learn under Him. It was only fair as he one day would be responsible for the circle as his uncle once was. They came to an agreement and very soon he began to shadow his uncle. They set up firewalls to protect the circle from intruders and to prevent wars from breaking out. He helped his uncle implement new rules and enforce them.
Abaddon grew curious about Cherri and why she was there. His uncle refused to speak on the matter. He barely saw her but he never recalled his uncle creating any spawn. the whole circle would know if he did. How could he have kept this under wraps? Abaddon asked if she contributed to anything at all. Why was he catering to a burden? a good for nothing. She should be serving him. He refused to answer Abaddon's pointed questions. But the more he kept interrogating the more he began to soften up to the idea this could be good for Cherri. She could grow more and learn more about the goings of the circle and the plain world.
Abaddon had the idea of making her work for the firewall. They needed more laborers and overseers. Cherri set off to the outer rim of the circle. This is the furthest she had ever been from the mansion. The firewall was easy enough for her to take care of, especially with her abilities. It kept everything that didn’t belong out and allowed the habitants come and leave as they pleased.
Abaddon had a motive for suggesting she go there. He wanted to snuff out any rivals. He was the heir and he wouldn’t let anyone take that from him. He flipped the switch to the area she was working. the wall dropped and there was a moment of pure silence.
Then they came.
Beasts and monsters of unimaginable size began to barge into the circle. Many were slain and ripped apart. He waited until he thought she was dead and flipped the switch back on to stop more beasts from entering. what he didn’t know is that she was sucked into cyberspace with the firewall. He managed to get rid of her one way or another and that’s all he ever wanted. She couldn’t get out and she was no longer in his way.
She could not escape.

Nightshade: Lore Story

◇ Lore Video ◇

Three women with different backgrounds come together by chance, and are bound by their common goal of vengeance. They have agreed to help each other and embark on a long journey paved with destruction and death to reach their ambitions. It’s not an easy journey but they have one another to lean on.“CAREFUL THEY SEE YOU,” screamed a pink haired cybernetic dragon assassin down at one of her partners. It was too late. The sights had already locked onto him. Before the man could look up from the vent he was attempting to pry open; there was an ear piercing buzz followed by a flash of light. There was a single moment of silence that felt like an eternity before he looked down at his hands and chest to see a large hole had been pierced through his torso.
“Lae…le,” he gargled, his voice a pleading whimper before his body collapsed onto the tiles of the roof he was on. Doors burst open as a group of cybernetic hybrids of all shapes and sizes flooded through, trampling over his body to investigate the rest of the rooftop for his other co-conspirators.
Laele ducked into cover on an adjacent rooftop. Tears began to burn in her eyes. How could she have been so negligent? How could she have been so foolish? Of course they would be waiting for them, they would never leave Dr.Voss unprotected. She had underestimated how well guarded the facility would be. They were lulled into a false sense of security and confidence. She was so sure things would go according to plan and instead got one of her own killed.
They had all taken an oath to take Dr.Voss and his army of grotesque machines down. He needed to be stopped, innocent people were being taken and torn apart to be made into machines, children were being turned into monstrous automatons. He needed to pay for his crimes, they all wanted him to pay. All his broken experiments were waiting for the chance to tear into him for all he had done to them.
Laele wiped her eyes dry and crawled to the elevator shaft before peeking into the darkness below. She saw their other partner below and signaled to him she was coming down. They nodded to each other and she jumped down rolling on impact to soften the blow. “It’s time to go,” she hurriedly whispered, rushing him to the backdoors.
“What about Joel?,” he protested, pulling her arm back with furrowed eyebrows.
“Joel is gone and we will be too if we don’t get out of here,” she growled and continued to rush them out of the building. They escaped through the shadowed alleys avoiding the neon lights of the cyber city. How they managed to get back to their den without being seen or followed was nothing short of a miracle. Once there the others greeted them. A rag-tag group of broken toys, people who had been wronged by the wicked doctor. They too asked about their missing member, emotions rising when hearing the tragic news. Everyone knew taking Voss down wouldn’t be easy but their slowly dwindling numbers forced them to face harsh realities. They all hugged and cried. It felt so wrong. It wasn’t fair for him to keep winning.
Still distraught and exhausted Laele went back to her chamber to recharge. She could feel the last bits of her energy stores draining away. She felt all the emotions hit her like a wave as she began to recharge at her desk plugging her personal port into the back of her head. She had tried so hard to be strong for all of them. The group looked up to her for guidance and she felt like she failed them. She wasn’t strong enough alone.
She dozed off with her head in her arms. The monitors shining a dull purple and blue hue on her pulsating slowly. The low hum and whirring of machines lulling her to sleep. Suddenly the wires on the walls began to crackle and pop, sparks began to travel down the wires to her monitor, a pink glow overtaking the purple.
“Hello?,” a soft voice called out from the speakers. The monitors glowed brighter as she tried to call out again to the sleeping cybernetic assassin. “HELLO? Please help me..,” She tried again this time shouting but to no avail. The unknown voice groaned impatiently. A spark of electricity traveled down her charging wire and zapped Laele, waking her up finally.
“HEY!,”she yelped, yanking the charging plug out of her neck and looked around the room in a frenzy. She didn’t see anything unusual so sat back down confused and rubbing her head which still tingled from the strange shock.
“Finally, it took you long enough. I need your help,” the voice spoke up again from the monitor. Laele glared at the monitor not seeing anything other than the pink glow it was emitting.
“Who are you, what do you want? How did you hack me?,” she growled irately after the rude awakening this stranger gave her. She didn’t even have the gall to face her directly. Why would she help them?
“I’ve been watching you for a while. I’m sorry for waking you up so rudely. But this is the first time I was able to get close to you. I’ve been watching you since the facility-”
“ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?”
“-No… I saw what happened on the rooftop. I've been watching the facility for a long time. I thought they could help me from this predicament I found myself in. But the longer I watched them I began to realize they did not have any good intentions at all. I’m all alone and have no one to ask for help. You see I’m stuck.. In cyberspace… or what you people call the Net? I’m not from here. I’m a demon and someone shut the firewall on me while it was down for maintenance. It sucked me in here and now I can’t get out. I can only travel through cyberspace and technology. I can’t use any of my powers here. Please I’m begging you’re my only hope. I’ve seen what you can do. I know you can net run. Please help me out..” the voice begged. The other monitors flickered to life showing the same female on each one. A white haired demon with light pink eyes glitching every once in a while. She had her hands clasped together in hope she would show her mercy. “I’ve been stuck here for so long. I’ve lost count of the years..”
Laele looked her up and down suspiciously. She didn’t know what to think. All of this was so strange to her. “How do I know I should even trust you? What if this is all a trap? What if Voss sent you?..” she stepped closer, glaring down at her through the monitors.
“Well for starters I didn’t come completely empty handed. I came with some information you might like. Your friend Joel isn’t dead… They took him. And I know where they’re keeping him,” the closest monitor to Laele began to play a surveillance tape showing the hybrids dragging Joel into the building. There was a thick oil like jelly covering the once gaping hole in his chest. The monitor flicked off again and the demon spoke again “I will help you get him.. If you help me escape this prison… please”.
Laele couldn't believe he was alive. Why would they keep him alive? Are they interrogating him? Torturing him? The only thing she knew for sure was that they had to go save him. “Fine… I will help you. If you try anything funny just know I can end you before you could even think about crossing me”.
Laele looked around the room and before dragging her tub closer to her systems preparing to access the net. She filled it with water and ice to help stave off exhaustion and prevent overheating for as long as possible. She didn’t know how long it would take to retrieve her. “What’s your name?”.
“Cherri”.
“Like the fruit?”.
“I guess..”.
“I like it,” she chuckled. “My name is Laele, I figured we should know each other’s names if I’m really about to do this”. Laele lowered herself into the tub and plugged herself in through her personal port pulling her goggles over her eyes. She hoped she wouldn't have to venture too far into the shadow net since she is right in her own home system.
“I’ve never done this.. Diving in”.
Despite never having attempted anything like this she was able to retrieve Cherri. She saw her all alone and just grabbed her. She felt real, it was difficult to explain such an odd sensation, but she was successful in pulling her out of the net with minimal exhaustion. When she pulled the goggles over her head there she was in the ice bath again. Shivering from the shock and still flickering with glitches even in the material realm. When Cherri got out of the tub she collapsed from weakness. Laele helped her up onto the bed apologizing for the unpleasant welcome to reality before wrapping her up in a blanket.
Over time they both began to get acquainted as newfound partners. Laele began to tell Cherri her story. About how she came to be. About how Dr.Voss created her to be a killing machine. About how she was able to escape due to an error in his programming. She told her about all the other failed experiments that she has been helping and how they all share the dream to take him down and make him pay for all his horrible crimes. Cherri was moved by their story and resolved to help them save Joel. She could see how tight knit they were.
Cherri also shared her stories and how she came to be stuck in cyberspace. She was an orphan left at the steps of the ruler of the 8th circle of hell. They didn't know who her parents were. She had the ability to manipulate time and steal it from others. The ruler decided it was best to isolate her since she was sought after by many with unsavory intentions. He tried to keep her hidden. Abaddon came to the mansion to follow in the ruler’s footsteps as the heir to the throne and she could sense a rivalry between them. He was the reason she got stuck there. He closed the firewall on her to get rid of her and she had been trapped ever since. She wanted revenge on him for what he had done. But she could feel how weak she had gotten. Being stuck in cyberspace didn’t leave her with nothing. She could manipulate technology better than ever after years of practice in the net. Laele offered to teach her how to net run. That way she could be a better asset to retrieving Joel.
The next few weeks Laele spent training Cherri to net run properly. She didn’t need equipment since she could go by herself but she definitely needed to learn where to go and where to not go. She was sticking out like a sore thumb. How she had not been discovered before is a wonder. Cherri got acquainted with the others in the group as well and soon enough she felt like she belonged. Cherri had nowhere to go and Laele offered her sanctuary while she recovered and regained her strength.
“Thank you for all you have done,” Cherri came into Laele’s doorway rubbing her neck. She expressed the gratitude she had for all Laele and the others had done for her. They had welcomed her in and nursed her back to health.
“Of course. You’re helping us and we’re helping you” Laele smiled from her desk. They had grown closer over these few weeks.
“I think I can ask someone to help us with taking down Voss. I’m still not 100% recovered but this person offered me a deal and I'm considering taking it. They want to use my powers and they offered me anything I would want in return. I didn’t have anything in mind and I didn’t want to abandon my “father” at the time. But now I have things I want. I want revenge. I want to help you guys save Joel, and I want to help take down Voss,” they both had a moment of contemplation before coming to an agreement and giving this new person a try. Her lifeline was Asmodeus, ruler of the second circle of Hell. He offered for her to stay with him in his harem but she knew he only wanted to use her power. She didn’t trust him but she had something he wanted and she was prepared to make a deal for it. Cherri and Laele began to perform the ritual. Cherri lit the circle with pink fire and began the chant. Her pupils are overtaken by darkness, flashing with bright glitches. She called for the ruler of the second circle. Chanting louder and louder as the flames raised higher and higher.
“IS THIS SAFE?!,” Laele yelled over the roaring flames as her things flew around the room. Cherri couldn’t hear her and kept chanting. Tears fell down her face as she exerted all she could. Suddenly the flames turned a deep blue. The flames grew hotter than before and both girls were blown back by its force slamming into a wall.
“WHO CALLS ME?,” an irate voice called from the circle, the flames dying down to reveal a woman with wolf ears and a tail. She had markings on her face and demon horns. This is not who Cherri called for.
“I called for the ruler of the second circle of hell.. Who are you? Where is Asmodeus?,” Cherri questioned her, confused why this woman was summoned and not Asmo.
Cherri had not been in Hell for a long time. Much longer than she had previously believed. Asmo’s harem had continued to grow and he had become much more powerful. Lylanxia was one of his succubi he had wronged and he paid the price of it with his head. She took control of his throne thereafter.
“I killed him,” she smirked. “I’m no Asmodeus. The name is Lylanxia, and I don't take too kindly to being summoned so rudely,” she snarled, piercing daggers into the girls with her eyes.
“I had a deal with him. He could use me for my powers and he would offer something in return,” Cherri stepped closer looking her up and down. “Would you be willing to uphold the same deal?”.
“OH- you must be the orphan girl he would always yap about. Kiwi? Cherry? Some sort of fruit right? Whatever your name is- I could use you for some things. I need to get to Mika. I’m sure you can help me get there. But what would you two want with me?,” she looked both the girls up and down with a devious smirk.
The girls began to discuss their deal together. They would all help each other reach their goals. Laele wanted to take down Voss and stop him from creating his killing machine hybrid army. Cherri wanted to get revenge on Abaddon. And Lyla wanted to get to Mika to kill him and gain more power and influence. They would all work together to become stronger, together they were lethal, they were beautiful deadly desires and nothing would stop them from achieving their goals.
